RVA_2020SuicideWalk

22 Too Many - Postponed until further notice

The number 22 is significant - it is what the Veterans Affairs Administration reports as Veteran suicides that happen every day. By doing this event, we are hoping to raise awareness for this tragic event.

This 22-mile course, from the Houghton Lake State Police Post all the way to the Roscommon High School Football Field, will have paved shoulders along highways and gravel shoulders along country roads while winding around Houghton and Higgins Lakes.

There will be multiple aid stations along the course offering refreshments and restroom facilities. There will also be safety shuttle drivers along the way for those with unexpected problems along the route.

You may do the walk individually or in teams.
