Property Improvement Program (PIP) loans are available through the Roscommon County Housing Commission. These loans are for people with income up to $105,700 annually. Interest is according to the gross annual income of the household.

You may qualify for a PIP loan if:
You are buying your home or own it free and clear.
You have a good credit record and ability to repay the loan.
You can borrow up to $25,000 and take up to 20 years to repay. Work must be performed by a licensed contractor.
With a PIP loan, you can do just about anything to your home such as: insulation, furnace, new siding, repair roof, install new windows, put in new plumbing, remodel kitchen or bath, upgrade electrical, build an addition, garage, or deck. Luxury items are not allowed. All improvements must be permanent to the house.
