82nd District Court

The District Court, which was established by the Michigan Legislature in 1968 pursuant to constitutional mandate, has more citizen contact than any other court in our judicial system.

The 82nd District Court is a weapons-free court. You are not permitted to bring any weapons into the Roscommon County Courthouse. This applies even if you have a concealed weapons permit. You may be subject to a search for weapons.

ALL Roscommon County Courts are open for the public to access, unless limits to public access are allowed by statute or court rule and the court imposes those limits.

ALL REQUESTS TO APPEAR REMOTELY:

  • MUST BE MADE IN WRITING ON A "Request to Appear Remotely" FORM

  • BE SUBMITTED TO THE COURT NO LATER THAN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING DATE
