Monday & Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
MISSION
To assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining any and all county, state and federal benefits to which they are entitled.
Some provided services are:
- Developing and filing claims for service-connected disability compensation, non-service-connected pension, widows pension and dependency and indemnity compensation
- Obtaining discharge documents
- Enrollment in the VA Healthcare program
- Burial Allowances
In addition, this office processes applications for emergency monetary assistance as mandated by the State of Michigan.
Additional office hours
Veterans Service Officers are in the office to help with VA claims and benefits for veterans, veterans widows or dependents. This can cover any VA matter. The following service officers will assist any veteran during these posted office hours:
