The
County Board of Commissioners is the governing board and policy-making body of
county government. While many of its powers, duties, and responsibilities are
prescribed by law, the board is in charge of development and approval of
county policy. One of the main duties of the board is to set the budget of the
county. Commissioners are elected to a two-year term in one of five
districts in Roscommon County. |
Meetings
are
conducted every second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
Workshops begin at 9 a.m. Unless otherwise posted, all
meetings are conducted in the Board Room of the County Building at 500
Lake St. in the Village of Roscommon

The Roscommon County Planning Commission
meets the 3rd Monday of every month in the commissioner's meeting
room in the Roscommon County Building, 500 Lake St., in the Village of Roscommon. For a copy
of the County Master Plan for 2001,
contact the commissioner's office.
