The Roscommon County Board of Commissioner’s met on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 for a regular meeting.  Chairman Mead called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M.

 

Roll Call:  Ayes:  Nellist, Mead, Schneider, Milburn, Souder.

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

            1.         Moved by Milburn, seconded by Nellist to approve the agenda.  On roll

            2.         Moved by Nellist, seconded by Milburn to appoint Eric Jaroch as

                        Assistant Airport Manager for the Roscommon County Blodgett

                        Memorial Airport effective November 28, 2007.  On roll call:  Ayes:

                        Souder, Milburn, Schneider, Mead, Nellist.  Nays:  None.  Motion

                        carried.

 

 

            3.         Moved by Milburn, seconded by Nellist to award the “Open Parking

                        Garage”  bid for the Sheriff vehicles to David Wakefield Construction

                        Inc., in the amount of $50,321.00.  On roll call:  Ayes:  Nellist, Mead,

                        Schneider, Milburn, Souder.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

 

            4.         Moved by Milburn, seconded by Souder to authorize Carol Quirk,

                        Director of the Roscommon County Juvenile Detention Center to

                        proceed with hiring of person or firm to develop bid specifications

                        for the remodeling of office and classroom space.  On roll call:  Ayes:

                        Mead, Nellist, Schneider, Milburn, Souder.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

 

            5.         Moved by Souder, seconded by Schneider to re-appoint Judy Kobman and

                        Nancy Hodges for a six (6) year term to the Board of Canvassers.  On roll

                        call:  Ayes:  Schneider, Milburn, Souder, Nellist, Mead.  Nays:  None.

                        Motion carried.

 

            6.         Moved by Milburn, seconded by Nellist to adjourn meeting.  On roll call:
