The Roscommon County Board of Commissioner’s met on Friday, May 4, 2007 for a special meeting. Chairman Mead called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M.

Roll Call: Mead, Milburn, Souder.

Absent: Nellist

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Also Present: Fran Staley, Sheriff; Ron Eno, Equalization Director;

1. Moved by Milburn, seconded by Souder to approve the agenda.

On roll call: Ayes: Mead, Milbur, Souder. Nays: None. Motion

carried.

2. Moved by Milburn, seconded by Souder to authorize the County Clerk,

Ann Bonk to take the following steps to fill the vacancy in County

Commissioner District 3 caused by the death of James Smolarz. Petitions

will be accepted until May 29, 2007 at 4:00 P.M. County Clerk

shall hold a Primary Election on August 7, 2007 if needed and a

General Election on November 6, 2007. On roll call: Ayes: Mead,

Souder, Milburn. Nays: None. Motion carried.

Ayes: Mead, Milburn, Souder. Nays: None. Motion carried.
