Double-crested cormorant count
Public assistance is need to count the number of
double-crested cormorant groups in Roscommon County. These birds are large and
black with orange beaks and can have a significant impact on fisheries
in the area. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources needs to get an
idea of where groups of these birds are.

- Where (specifically) was it/they sighted? Please be as specific
as possible. What township? near what road? on or near a specific
body of water?
